The museum showcases the history of the 1st Flotilla and Fighter Wing 9 of the NVA.

The museum, located on the grounds of the former Peenemünde naval base, showcases the history of the 1st Flotilla of the People’s Navy and its base in Peenemünde. Another exhibition presents the history of the Peenemünde airfield and Fighter Wing 9. The museum also includes the small Project 1241 RÄ Molnija “Hans Beimler” missile boat.
