The Wild Market Kicks Off Wild Weeks
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Neu Pudagla Forest Office
The Wild Market marks the official kickoff of the 22nd Wild Weeks on Usedom. To kick things off and look forward to an exciting family day in the heart of the forest—centered around the forest, wildlife, hunting, and local culture.
Learn interesting facts about hunting, try your hand at archery, or get hands-on with creative workshops using bark and green wood. If you’d like, you can even carve your own bow.
You can also experience modern forestry technology up close: Axel Beyer will present an impressive wood chipper during two demonstrations, showing how it processes wood into wood chips for the home and garden. In another demonstration, he’ll show how a lifting platform is used for traffic safety work on roadside trees.
A special highlight is the hunting dog presentation.
Entertainment will be provided by the play “Der Eierdieb” (The Egg Thief), musical accompaniment by DJ Ladi, and exciting interviews with interesting guests discussing forests, wildlife, hunting, and regional culture.
There’s also plenty to enjoy on the culinary front: Look forward to the carving of the wild boar on a spit, a cooking demonstration on stage, and many other regional delicacies.
From the Forest to the Plate – Hirschhof Hohendorf
On October 17, 2026, “Jagen am Peenestrom GbR” invites you to join them. Starting at 10 a.m., the hunting route will be marked out, and guests who are not hunting will have the opportunity to gain insight into the traditional craft of hunting and learn interesting facts about the role of hunters in nature.

A touch of glamour included

At the Wild Fashion Dinner, culinary sophistication meets extraordinary fashion. Guests can look forward to an exclusive five-course menu featuring game specialties, accompanied by a special fashion show.
Selected designers will present their creations on the catwalk, ensuring an evening full of enjoyment, inspiration, and glamour. Afterward, guests will have the opportunity to chat with the designers and purchase select pieces directly.

Hunting Meets Faith - Hubertus Mass
On November 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., Pastor Ulrike Weber (ret.) will read the Legend of St. Hubert at St. Mary’s Church in the town of Usedom, with musical accompaniment by the award-winning hunting horn ensemble Insel Usedom e. V. – afterward, fire pits, mulled wine, apple punch, and Usedom wine invite you to linger in front of the church.

Festive Closing of the 22nd Game Weeks
on November 7, 2026, at Restaurant Alexander
To mark the festive conclusion of the 22nd Wild Weeks on Usedom, the Strandhotel Seerose invites you to the Kölpinsee Game Gala. The culinary team, led by Claus Preuß and Phil Henker, will present an exclusive five-course gala menu featuring delicacies from local game.
The stylish ambiance of the “Alexander” restaurant, located right on the water, rounds out this special evening of culinary delights.
