10th Globetrotter Hiking Days in Bad Schandau
From September 18 to 20, 2026, Bad Schandau will become a gathering place for hiking, nature, and outdoor enthusiasts. To mark its tenth anniversary, there will be 45 guided tours through Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland to choose from—ranging from the challenging 50-km Stone Trek to dog walks, choir hikes, and themed hikes.
The Malerweg will also celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, a three-day tour along the famous long-distance hiking trail will be offered for the first time.
The central meeting point is the market square in Bad Schandau. There, you can expect a varied supporting program, various outdoor exhibitors, and the Usedom Island booth.

Imposing sandstone cliffs and spectacular views on one side, a pristine Baltic Sea beach and vast horizons on the other: Saxon Switzerland and the island of Usedom invite you to get out and about, experience nature firsthand, and recharge your batteries.
